Contents:

          Tadalafil.

Indications:

          Treatment of erectile dysfunction.

Contraindications:

          Co-administration w/ organic nitrates. Men w/ cardiac disease for whom sexual activity is inadvisable. MI, unstable angina, heart failure, uncontrolled arrhythmias, hypotension, uncontrolled hypertension, stroke w/in the last 6 mth. Loss of vision in 1 eye due to non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy. Lapp lactase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption. Women.

Special Precautions:

          Severe renal or hepatic insufficiency. Use w/ caution in patients w/ conditions that might predispose them to priapism (eg sickle cell anaemia, multiple myeloma or leukaemia), or in patients w/ anatomical deformation of the penis (eg angulation, cavernosal fibrosis or Peyronie's disease).

Dosage:

          Adult 10-20 mg once daily, taken 30 min-36 hr prior to sexual activity. Patients may need to determine their own optimal window of responsiveness.
