          Hepatic and severe renal impairment. Cerebral haemorrhage. Pregnancy and lactation.

Special Precautions:

          Avoid abrupt withdrawal. Impaired renal function. Cardiac disorders. Haemostatic disorders. Patients who have recently undergone major surgery. Elderly.

Dosage:

          Adult: PO Adjunct in treatment of cortical myoclonus 7.2 g/day in 2-3 divided doses, increase if needed. Max: 20 g/day. Cognitive enhancer 2.4 g/day in 2-3 divided doses. Severe: Up to 4.8 g/day. IV/IM Cognitive enhancer 1-2 g 3 times/day.
